Hello! We filed for N-400 (6/2024) with pending ROC (9/2022), currently with a 4yrs extension on conditional GC. It was our first time filing online and right after we submitted the form, we got the notice of application receipt, and the reuse of biometrics notice. So far, it says on our USCIS account — 6 months estimated time of processing. *fingers crossed*

Welcome to the waiting game.

I already thought with the notification that we have another lucky interview date receiver

thank you! We filed 6/1, and we’re hoping to get an interview date sooner rather than later. But knowing the USCIS it’ll probably take a while 😂 Best of luck to everyone! 😊

Right? Ugh, seems like Orlando is slow...I see so many other offices handing out already interview dates. 🥺

Seems like ours have been slow too! :( Orlando was a lot faster for us when we still lived in Florida 😅 *sighs*

I was snooping on the May threat and someone from my local office just got their interview date there so I’m hopeful that by month 2 I’m getting closer to the golden ticket

I really hoped that we'll get spoiled this time. The I-130 & ROC were painfully slow. Especially since that was 10 years ago I thought USCIS has improved with processing times. *sigh*. Maybe they think I have waited that long, now I don't mind waiting longer 😂 On the positive side I have to admit that I really enjoy being back here at VJ & know I am not alone. 😁

Me too. April, May and July. Unfortunately it's different than i.e. with the spouse visa where everyone hangs out at the NVC etc. Now you can't really figure something out regarding the timeline since we are now on the local office level. Not seen many from Orlando or timelines are not updated 🤷‍♀️ that's my hope otherwise it's very slow although someone had interview and oath from March to June.

Hi everyone,

Planning to file N-400 online soon. Originally received GC 8 years ago based on marriage to USC.

1. Shall I just apply under General 5 year category or 3 year marriage category? what are the pros and cons?

2. If I go by 5 year rule, I can only find last 4 years tax transcript online IRS. How do I get one for the last 5th year? Will any other IRS doc or tax return work for the 5th year?

3. At the end of online N-400, what docs you submitted in EVIDENCE for 5 year category?

Thanks in advance.

I submitted my N-400 online on June 5. My interview had been scheduled for September in Charleston, SC.

I applied under the 3 year rule with a I-751 pending.

Gotta start studying now!

Congratulations!!!
