hi my wife had interview in Oman on May 28th CR1 .  I went with her officer asked about five questions after that she said everything is good, but we are still waiting for clearance which we have not got yet and she gave us 221g . No documents were missing and gave blank  221g no email came yet . There is X by 221g . Are they doing a background check? We are confused what clearance they’re waiting for. How long does it take .  MAY 28th was interview last case was updated on may 29th . Thanks in advance…

There’s no way to know why you’re in AP.   I’m sure the country of origin has something to do with it.   All you can do is wait.

I wouldn't expect anything yet, it can take a lot longer. As said above, no way of knowing, you just have to wait it out I'm afraid.

Had you provided info that the beneficiary is from Pakistan in your first post, we'd be able to tell you extra processing is normal. Just have to sit tight and wait.

Not helpful I know, but there genuinely is no way of knowing. Could be another week, could be another year.

Generally Pakistan takes longer due to lack of records and the extra checks needed.

as far the interview went officer said everything is ok meaning she was satisfied with interview  answers correct ? if she had any doubt she would have said I'm not satisfied ??

even if she  wanted to approve out case she couldn't  cuz clearance didn't come from USA yet?
