Worried about a discrepancy between DS-160 and DS-260

I had a tourist visa some years back where the DS-160 was filled out by an agency. I had an old arrest where the charges were dropped and the arrest expunged and the agent told me I didn't have to declare so they didn't.

Fast forward years later I met my wife and we got married and decided to file for the CR-1 visa for me. My wife completed the DS-260 on my behalf and after doing research we realized that I needed to declare the arrest no matter what and did just that, but I'm worried how this may affect my CR-1 application. Was never asked any questions during my tourist visa interview about ever being arrested but intend to be truthful if they ask about it at our upcoming interview.

Will this possibly be a problem?

Possible?  Yes.  Nothing you can do about it except tell the truth now and going forward.  Is the DS-260 submitted correctly with the truth?

Yes. We indicated being arrested before and that the charges were dropped and the charges were related to illegal possession of a weapon. Also will be getting the court documents that show and state the same.

There are things that you can get away with for a non immigrant visa but will bite you of you go for a immigrant visa

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
