Hello all,

My question is a simple one.

What additional paperwork do I need to provide besides the official stuff shown onm the web site?

I was phone bills, bank accounts with both names on them.

What about the birth certificates, if it is in Russian does it need to be translated?

Is there a list anywahere of all the stuff required?

David

wow, we have already recieved our Biometrics appointments. It is only 2 1/2 weeks away.

It seems to be moving rather quickly.

This is great.

I sent in just the stuff they requested on the USCIS forms, and here on VJ. I did not send any bills, bank accounts or any other proof. This is what you'll need to bring to the interview with you.

As for the birth certificate, it needs to be in long form (with parents info) and translated into English. You can do this yourself if you are fluent in both languages. At the bottom of the translation you need to insert a line "I XXX am fluent in both the English & Russian languages, and certify this is a true and accurate translation" then get it notarized. Going elsewhere to do this, they charge anywhere from $50-150.

Do a search here on VJ, there are several threads with a list of what people sent in.

If they want to see stuff such as bank accounts in your names, they will ask for it at the interview... that is when you want to bring evidence of your marriage. There's no need to send any of that with your paperwork. Just follow the guide here on VJ or the instructions on the form!
