F2A interview wait-time backlog in Nigeria

Hi guys. I just want to have an idea of where things are as of this moment. category F2A PD Nov-2021 DQ Feb-2023 and i have only received that letter they send every 60 days to ensure your case has not been forgotten. Has any F2A category received appointments recently? Is it possible to get dates so we can track? how do we know how far the backlog is from this present day? It's really frustrating being left in the dark for so long. Anybody with any help with information is appreciated

Your PD isn't current yet, so there is no visa available to you anyway. Exactly what date is your PD in Nov 2021? Please fill in your timeline!

 

Once there is a visa available to you and you are added to the queue for an interview, it’ll be quite a while as Lagos has a big backlog. I think it’s about 18 months for a spousal interview, so yours is likely to be a longer wait as they’ll be prioritised.

Hi, the exact date is 12 NOV 2021. please is it 18 months from PD or from when? and how many months would you estimate for F2A backlog?

So you will be current in July and then you just have the usual processing issues at the Consulate, I believe Lagos is backlogged. You can follow other peoples I 130 cases and see how long it is taking them.

From when your PD becomes current. As above, it’s a long wait at Lagos so I’d guess late 2025 at the earliest for your interview unless the backlog starts to reduce.

My dq is October 2022, no interview letter also. Lagos has a huge backlog
