My mom applied for me as married son of US citizen on October 2013 , and recently I received the email that case was migrated to ELIS.  When I check processing time , it shows that I have to request inquiry why it takes long time, but I get standard answer.

Can you suggest how long will it take to send my case to  NVC? Thank you

Your case can be approved by USCIS and sent to NVC anytime from when it was sent to USCIS. However, it being sent to NVC does not mean you'll be getting a visa. You will only be issued a visa when your priority date becomes current and it seems you have at least 3 more years of waiting to become current.

In some situations, if minor derivative children are involved you'll actually want to hope USCIS actually take their sweet time to approve the petition so that you can protect the child's age using CSPA.

almost 11 years since 2013 October

So another 4-5 years of waiting.  We filed for my stepson in the F3 category back in 2020, so we are in the waiting game as well.

Good Luck!

Thank you for response, what is CSPA and how I can protect children’s age, because my daughter this year will be 21z

Has the I-130 been approved? Or you're still waiting for that? It would be really helpful if you could fill in your timeline on your profile.

So it hasn’t been approved? Please do fill in your timeline, it’s really hard to help without that. Your CPSA calculation will depend on exact dates, but if the I-130 is still pending that’s a good thing.

The exact days are shown on the attachments , the only paper I received is that they received I-130 form on the 25 Oct. 2013 and that case was migrated to ELIS. And when I check processing times it shows 80 months and gives me opportunity to request the inquiry why it is out of processing time.

That's good then, your daughter shouldn't age out. I wouldn't chase it - you want it to take as long as possible!

Now I guess how long should I wait for getting letter from NVC. Why does it show that cases lasts 80 months , despite mine is already 100 months past

Because your Priority Date isn't current yet. As above, you don't want your I-130 approved and your case to be transferred to NVC yet! There is no visa available to you for several years anyway, so if you want your 20 year old to be able to get a visa as well, you need the I-130 to take as long as possible so that she doesn't age out.
