[You might not have a principal residence or be domiciled in the United States. Please submit proof of domicile. For more information on domicile requirements, visit https://nvc.state.gov/fin.]

I received the above message after I submitted my documents to nvc. I am living out of USA since 2012 up to now. But I have a house mortgaged in USA and currently one of my friend is living there and he is co-sponsoring my wife.  I am planning to go with my family and start living there. So how should I reply to above message ?

Do you have anything else tying you to the USA like a bank account, business, remote job from a USA based company, tax returns, USA based cell phone or anything else? How often are you in the states?

Yup, since you've not resided in the US for more than a decade, NVC needs proof you intend to do so before your spouse migrates to the US. Family petitions are for family unification/reunification physically inside the US hence the requirements. Also you must enter the US before or at the same time with wife.

Send all the documents you've stated above in previous post to NVC. Add more if have them like Driver's License, voting records, investments, etc.

Most likely a short letter explaining you own a home and business in the USA, and declaring your intent to come back and live in that home, will be sufficient. Include evidence of the home and business ownership.

As a proof, latest mortgage payment statement, Business Bank account statement, Personal Bank account statements going to be enough?

To accompany your written statement of intent, yes.  Those statements are evidence you CAN re-establish domicile.  Your written signed statement is evidence you WILL.
