I received an official I-130 approval letter so now i can submit DS-260 whenever im ready. But i have some concerns.

1. Passport Number

I will have to get a new passport soon because I changed my surname, and want my GC with it. But it will be later time when I will be able to issue the new one. So, Is it okay to put my current passport number on DS-260 and submit so can do medicals?
I am applying visa in tokyo, in order to make medical appointment, i have to submit DS-260 first.

2. Social Media

I have provided all the social media i have used from the list. But then, they also ask me, do i wish to provide other websites or applications that are not listed. Would it be an issue if i say No? I have so many that i had deleted years ago and i cant even remember the platforms which makes it even harder for me to remember the usernames.

3. Occupation

I am a part time worker at McDonald’s. I do not have any other occupation. I don’t go to college or have other jobs. Which one should I select? HOMEMAKER or OTHER and say “im a part time worker”?

1.  Sure, many people get new passports between the DS260 and interview.  Use your current passport number and provide your new one at the interview.

2.  You can only put down what you remember.  I am not sure if VisaJourney was listed, but it is also a social media site, so you can put that down under other.

3.  I would either put Food Service Worker, or Homemaker.  You can explain the situation at the interview if asked.

Good Luck!

We took that question literally and answered what they asked.  "Do you wish to provide information about your presence on other websites.........?"   Answer "No."  (I do not wish to.)

If you have a job, that is your occupation, in this context.  They already know you are a wife and all that goes with that.
