My lawyer missed a question on my N-400 form, specifically Part 10, Question 8, which asks for the number of marriages my spouse has had. This field was left blank. Should I correct this mistake? My lawyer says it’s not necessary, but it’s causing me concern

if I need to correct mistake what’s the right process. Currently I have mail my application to uscis and waiting for confirmation letter

Are you applying under 3 or 5 year rule?

Wouldn't worry about it now, the officer (IO) will give you a chance before the interview starts, and ask you if there are any corrections that need to be made, you can mention it then.

Shouldn’t I send a letter to USCIS stating the correction

I think answers about your wife's marriages are relevant. You can prepare an errata sheet and bring to the interview

We did this for my wife's interview last week, per OldUser's direction.  Same question even, but we had 2 instead of 3 marriages (didn't consider counting the current one).  The interviewer asked if she had any additional documentation to provide and she gave him the errata sheet and it was a done deal.

Three columns, first column is section and question number.  Second column is what was entered.  Third column is what it should have been.
