I have a friend who's death, she's on public assistance, Her husband is in Haiti(Married 3 years ago) She filed I-130, it got approved last month and now the case is at NVC, what documents she will need to upload on the NVC website.

1) For Co-Sponsor is that 2 I-864 forms that need to be filled out or just 1?

2) what documents she needs to upload to NVC?

3) How long does it normally take to get interview once all the documents are loaded on the NVC website

Thank you for all the feedback

The co-sponsor needs needs to fill out one I864, and if the co-sponsor is married, they should probably have their spouse fill out an I864A as many consulates request that.

Your friend will also need to fill out their own I864 even though she is using a co-sponsor.

I believe the I864(s) and evidence of ongoing relationship, but others may know more.

Depends on the consulate and their backlog of work.

Spacibo! She had an RFE from uscis for the I-130, she just sent them Various proof and a week later she got approved, now can we just load those same documents to NVC? I thought those documents would be share but maybe it's different portal?

NVC will require a whole different set of documents.

You give NVC everything they ask for, whether sent before or not.  There are no "cosponsors".  You mean "Joint Sponsor".  Now is the time to become an A-Student of the I-864 and its excellent instructions.  Study carefully.  Interpret literally.  If the joint sponsor is married filing a joint tax return, then their spouse should also provide an I-864a, whether they have income or not and whether their income is needed or not.  It's not just about income.  It's a contract.
