Filed my i130 and i485 and was denied due to the credit card form (not sure why probably because it was submitted during the cost change end of May)

Regardless i have a couple questions.

Should i reapply with the same forms they sent back to me? There’s some pen marks at the bottom of a couple pages so i’m not sure if these would be okay for resubmission.

Would you recommend us to now file the i130 online first? Instead of doing all in mail again.

Finally, I filed the first time before my ESTA expired but now it has after waiting over a month for a reply. Does this change the process or any of my forms?

Thanks

Send same forms back.

Use MO....go to grocery store or USPS and purchase MO.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

MO?

It’s okay to file the same forms with the same dates etc?

MO= Money Order. Unfortunately, you'll have to pay new fees $3265. MOs are capped at $1000. You'll have to get 4 of then.

Same forms

Make your decision. You can choose to eliminate EAD or AP to lower cost. I wouldn't advise such.

You can also Google "USCIS fees calculator" and confirm the costs

1. How much $ did you send with your original petition?

2. If you look at the top of the image I uploaded, you'll see "dates." So, right now, you're governed by new fees (right column of the image).

1. can’t remember it’s been a while now

2. Yes thank you been doing it on the fee calculator on their website. The only thing that confused me was the i765 says the below. Does concurrently filling like i’m going to apply?

Not sure what you're looking at, bit for concurrent filing, it's $1440. I double checked on USCIS website.

So, as I said:

1. Get a MO this time.

2. You're governed by the new fees: $3265

Yeah. I see that. Not sure how $520 came up. Proceed

Just used the fee calculator and if you input I-765 on c9 category for adjustment of status it still says it's free, so there's some confusion there for sure.

On the I-765 page it says $260 if you have adjustment of status ongoing.

@Iza414 For the travel document, $630. It's a hard fee to swallow but it is harder to be stuck in the US with no certainty when travel will be possible again, so think carefully about this one - make sure you know the processing times for your local office and take that into account. My local office usually take 6-8 months for an interview, that could be doable without AP but if it was 12-18 months I might reconsider it.

What will you do if there is an emergency back home and you need to leave the US?   The entire process will be abandoned and you’ll be subject to all new fees.
