I setup an appointment at a county clerk office instead of USPS (post office had horrible reviews all over).

My father is deceased. What am I putting for date of birth? He had a Pakistan Passport but it only shows the year on it but doesn’t have city and country of birth on it.

Why does the agency collect parents information? I use the form filler online.

I want to write a check since my bank charges $10 for each money order but my personal check has my old postal address on it. Would that be a problem? The $35 I will pay on cash because they charge a convenience fee for credit card transactions.

Does the copy of my Texas Driver License has to be on same page or can it be on different page?

I took my passport size picture at a FedEx office. They say that they are government compliant. Has there been any issues getting the picture rejected from FedEx?

Do I need to bring my Mother’s Certificate of Naturalization?

I haven’t updated my citizenship status with SSA yet and still have the DHS writing on the SSC.

I can still proceed with the passport application right?

Yes.  If you have your Naturalization Certificate, you can apply for a passport.

The DS 260 asked for Parents date of birth, there is an option for I do not know.

I would keep it consistent. I have never seem my Dads BC but I know his DOB.

The address of the check would not matter. As I use 1 or 2 a year mine are well out of date.

You're right, no questions about parents in N-400.

I guess it's related to how I moved to the US. Both I-485 and application for marriage license asked about my parents.

So what am I writing?

This is for DS-11. First time new passport.

Also on the Certificate of Naturalization. It says ‘Complete and true signature of holder’. Do I sign my full name in cursive black ink or it has to typed? What else do I write on it?

Is it OK to make photocopies in black ink only for Certificate of Naturalization and my front/back of driver license?

You can write N/A on fields for which you don't have information or a way to get it:

It has option for unknown but I just know father’s year of birth.
