DS-260 Typo on Passport Number

Hello,

My wife (French) and I are moving to the US soon for my job and the embassy was kind enough to accept us with DCF. So far so good. I filled in the data on the DS-260, but (like a moron), I mistyped her passport number (it as a segment with three 0's, I only added two). It's been signed, with the wrong passport number. My wife has an appointment with the doctor tomorrow (May 13th) and we have an appointment in the embassy on May 22nd. What's my best course of action? Is there anyway to correct it before the interview? Will they even talk to us with the wrong information?

Best Regards,

Nathan

You can correct it at the actual interview. Just let them know. Plus they are going to use the correct info anyways because they'll need the physical passport to affix the visa. Good luck.

Another vote to wait until the interview.
