Scheduling K1 Interview Appointment US Embassy Manila

Looking at the "flow chart" it is unclear to me if the Embassy in Manila assigns you an interview date or you make one online, I am assuming using ustraveldocs.com?
I assume I can create an account on ustraveldocs for my Fiancée, but it should be using her email address?

OK, I guess I have figured this out. On the DS-160 page it says that we must schedule an interview . . .

Use whatever email address you want that you know is reliable.  You will schedule the interview yourself after submission and payment of the DS-160.  It will take 24-36 hours for the payment to be valid, not the 4 hours claimed in the instructions, so be prepared to wait longer than advertised.
