K1 Visa - U.S Embassy in Paris Questions

Hello everyone!

My fiance and I received confirmation from the US Paris Embassy that it received our approved K1 petition on May 6. On that letter, it provided us a link to self-schedule our interview, but the part where I'm a little lost is that my fiancee is a resident of Portugal, and on the French Embassy Website, it says that "If you are a resident of Portugal, this step is not required."

I do not understand if they will send us an appointment letter or if we have to schedule it ourselves. Can anyone clarify that information?

And if they will send an appointed interview letter, when should we expect that to come in? Our petition is set to expire in July.

Also, with a K1 visa, we just bring all the supporting documents to the interview, correct? The CEAC website doesn't give us an option to upload anything.

Thank you!
