Travel tax on ANA Airlines

I have flown out of Manila airport two times with ANA Airlines and never paid a travel tax. Is the travel tax included in the ticket price?  Will my family have to pay the travel tax when they depart Manila.  We are all on the same reservation?

You will have to carefully look at the codes on your receipt to see if travel tax was included.  For a while it was, but I think now it may not be again.  It was not included on my flight (Korean) last month.  There will be a bunch of 3 letter codes on your receipt.  There will be a terminal fee already included- do not confuse that with travel tax.  I would be prepared to pay the travel tax no matter what your receipt says.

It would be a line item on the receipt about $28.XX-ish (P1620 converted to dollars at whatever rate they used).  Whether it is included or not would depend on how you bought the ticket.  Note, that on mixed reservations including Filipino residents who are subject to the tax, and foreign resident passengers who are NOT subject to the tax, it is best if it is NOT included and instead paid at the TIEZA counter at the airport.   Because, typically airlines would either include it or exclude it for all passengers on the same reservation.   So, if I were included in the ticket then the non residents on the ticket would be paying it unnecessarily.  If paid at the TIEZA counter then only the Philippine residents pay.

Also, once your family members immigrate to the US they are no longer subject to the tax on future visits.  But they still have to go to the TIEZA counter and show their green card to get their exemption.

It depends. Filipino airline carriers such as Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines will allow you to pre-pay during ticket reservation. Your airline ticket receipt will reflect the travel tax. The non-Filipino airlines do not have this option and you will need to pay at the airport kiosk.
