Interview done when USCIS system is down

I had my Naturalization interview on May 7 at the uscis in Boston. I have a green card and i got a notice before the interview that they are reusing my biometrics. On the day I attended the interview, the system was down, so they couldn't take my photo or biometrics, and they wrote my civic answers on a paper, and my listening and writing test were on paper.

I was informed that I passed but the case could not be approved because the system was down. The interviewer told me he would need to upload my answers into the system and approve the case there, when the system comes back up. The interviewer told me my oath ceremony notice will be in the mail.

Its May 10 today and when I logged into my account there's no new notice, and the status of the case is still "interview is scheduled" and nothing new

Has anyone encountered this situation?

1. Is there anything I could do rather than waiting?

2. How longer do you think i will have to wait till theres an update

3. Will i have to take photo and biometrics again since they didn't take it when i was there

4. At what point should i try to contact uscis and what is the best channel

Thank you!

My wife had interview when the system was down too. About 4 or 5 weeks later she got a letter with the oath ceremony date. I don't think there was any change in her online account for 3 to 4 weeks after the interview.

Thank you @Thunderbolt, did she have to go in and do photo and biometrics again? And can I ask about location of interview? Thanks!

Sorry that happened. Hope you'll get an update soon. You might be ask to return for a photo to be use on your citizenship certificate.

When did you filed by the way?

They use your green card photo for the certificate at least when I got my certificate at my naturalization ceremony this past Wednesday it had my GC picture on it
