nope - it is a rope bridge in Argentina over a 300 foot gorge!

I searched first for 'suspension bridge foot gorge"; then refined it to 'foot bridge gorge' which brought up a site in Dublin looking at bridge designs for the Liffey River as a Millennium project which included the above photo as one of the rejected designs. Searching on 'Argentina rope bridge gorge' brings up the same photo. Unfortunately, it is a thumbnail photo and doesn't list exactly where it is in Argentina. I am still looking to see if I can identify it further. Here is the site that contains it, however:

ok - more info:

Arroyo Cangrejillo Bridge, Andalgala, Catamarca, Argentina

OPAC designed this 336 m (1100 ft) span bridge to cross a 90m (300ft) deep canyon. Its taut cables sag only about 7m or 1/48th of the span. After the cables were strung across the canyon, the grillage of steel floorbeams and stringers was erected, starting at one end. 92 of the 134 segments were completed when this photo was taken. The nominal erection rate was 8 to 10 segments/day. This bridge is featured on the February 1999 cover of Structural Engineering International, the Journal of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering.

I don't have the ability yet to post photos directly, so if someone else would like to post one that would be great. To clarify - I can't post anything larger than a thumbnail size and that doesn't really allow anyone the option to look at it well enough to identify.
