Well, sure, it is on the same tectonic plate as east Asia, but it is still an island.

By that logic folks who live on the San Juan Island in Puget sound would not live on the North American continent. This would include all of the Canadians living on the much larger Vancouver Island. It is moot anyway as the answer to my guess of Okinawa was negative.

The Nomadic Museum is composed of 152 shipping containers. It was constructed to house a photography exhibit in New York City in 2005, was dismantled, and was reassembled in Santa Monica, California in early 2006.
