I arrived by myself. The officer spent nearly an hour reviewing my submitted material while I was in his office. He did not greet me and had scowls on his face the whole time.

Questions asked for I-751:

When did you get married?

When did you get divorced?

Why did you get divorced?

Did he meet your parents?

Did you meet his parents?

Did you get a chance to study for your citizenship questions?

Questions asked for N-400:

U.S. History & Government:

1. What is the economic system of the United States? Capitalism

2. Who makes federal laws? Congress

3. What prevents any government branch from becoming too powerful? Checks and balances

4. What is one right that only U.S. citizens have? To run for federal offices

5. Name two U.S. holidays. Presidents' Day; Memorial Day.

English:

1. Read this sentence: Where is the White House

2. Write this sentence: The White House is in Washington D.C.

Lastly:

Routine questions are asked such as are you willing to take the full oath of allegiance.

I was given N-652 and the officer pointed to this sentence:

"Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval. At this time, it appears that you have established your eligibility for naturalization. If final approval is granted, you will be notified of when and where to report for your naturalization ceremony."

The officer then escorted me out of his office. I later ran into him in a plaza while waiting for my bus to go home.

Case Status changed to:

May 8, 2024 Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled
