My wife and I were married on the 15th of June and her I-94 expires on the 14th of Aug (it took WA state forever to send us our Marriage Certificate). She just realized she doesn't have a Birth Certificate with her here (Arizona) so she had her mom send one (Brazil). Should we wait until it arrives before sending the packet even though it would mean sending it after the 14th or should we just send it now and send the BC in when it gets here.

Thanks for your help,

Matt

Wait for the birth certificate and send in the complete packet. It doesn't matter if you file for AOS after your I-94 expires. Billions* of VJers have done so to no consequences.

*May be slight exaggeration!
