London embassy, rescheduling interview

Hi, I've gotten myself into a bit of a situation which is stressing me out. I picked a K1 interview date whilst away for the London embassy. However could not phone to organize a medical. I phoned them now and they said that I need 10 working days between my medical and my interview and I'm 1 day out. Medical is booked for the 29th and interview is booked for the 11th but needs to be 12th.

However there are no other dates past the 11th showing for June yet. I have already rescheduled twice is what I am stressed about now if I try to reschedule it again will this be okay? I rescheduled twice because of a trip I went on and needed a passport then I changed again thinking the gap was long enough between 29th-11th June :(

Also is there any email I can use to contact the embassy to which they would reply as the medical said to speak to them. Maybe they 9 days could be okay but I do not know how to contact them and ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not sure if theres problems with rescheduling for a 3rd time.

but this is the link for their contact form from the embassy website

this is your best bet than trying to find a direct email address

I wouldn't reschedule. Even if the medical isn't received by the time you have your interview it's no biggie, it just means your visa won't be approved until it is, but that's likely to take less time overall than rescheduling the interview will do. Plus I would bet good money that your medical will be received by the consulate in plenty of time for your interview anyway, I think they say 10 days just to cover themselves but I've never heard of it taking anywhere near that long. My family's medicals were all sent over to the consulate within 48 hours last year.

Good luck.

OMG that is such a a relief to hear, thank you for that information! So even if I turned up to the interview and they haven't received the medical results they would not deny my visa they would just wait until they are received? The person on the phone sounded adamant that I wait but I guess they can't tell people to go ahead and that it'll be alright. Thank you!!

No, they won't deny you, your case will just be held until they are received. But if it's 9 days between the two I'd think it highly unlikely they won't have them by then anyway.

Best of luck.

agree with appleblossom, I think they actually sort medical within 5 days but it just depends how fast embassy processes it. 9 days will probably actually be enough time but if not, you'll just go into 'reused' status until they have it and process it. It's not a denial, just what they do while they wait for missing documents.

Hi Andi thank you for responding too, I should have mentioned in original post we have a trip to Africa planned end of June so I'm worried if it does wait for missing documents I will not get my passport back soon enough to go. I feel like it would be safer to maybe reschedule it but my fiance doesn't want to. So now I'm just going to hope the 9 days is enough and it'll be okay 😬
