Interview was today in Fairfax VA. Had to wait almost two hours but actual interview took 15 minutes. Officers were super nice and patient since my mom is elderly and with limited English. The officer gave her the oath ceremony appointment on the spot a week from today. Thank you all for the support in this journey and good luck to those waiting.

Hi

Had the interview this morning here in Columbus, Ohio. Easy and smooth. Approved.

He said the notice would take 4-6 weeks.

They do 2 ceremonies per week. I said: oh, that might be after the deadline for voting registration (Oct 7), He said, hopefully not that long. There is people registering right there, if it is past oct 7, you could ask if they will take your and all the other people's registrations extemporary. 🤞 it's less than that.

Congrats, What's your interview date?

Not sure yet. Not able to see the letter online on the documents tab. Is there another way other than waiting for the physical letter?

Hi everybody,

Today I got my N-400 interview and passed with flying colors.  The staff and the officer were pretty nice and friendly. The interview was fast and concise, with no complicated questions from the questionnaire and a simple written test.  I had a casual conversation with the Officer about the state where my husband was born.  I remember I was asked like 10 personal questions from my N-400 and we were done.

There are no same-day oath ceremonies in the USCIS Charlotte Office, they will send me a letter with the date and hour.

Good luck to everybody!

Maritah.

Log into your USCIS account.  While logged in paste the following URL into the address bar and change "IOE_YOUR_CASE_NUMBER" to your actual IOE case number.

https://my.uscis.gov/account/case-service/api/cases/IOE_YOUR_CASE_NUMBER

Chrome has a "Pretty print" checkbox that formats the output a little easier to look at.

All it shows on ours is that it updated when we uploaded some additional evidence a couple of weeks ago.  No great fantastic revelations but it is a little interesting.
