Hey folks.

I have a question. I’m pretty sure almost everyone applied for N400 online, but maybe some didn’t and had my issue in this application or in past steps.

I’ve applied on may 16, and by usps info it was delivered on may 19 but since then I didn’t get anything back from USCIS when in past I always been getting notice in max 1 week. I tried to call to hotline number to check on that but automated system doesn’t let me speak with live agent, and prompts me to send an email, so I did, and got automated response that I won’t get a response if I didn’t provide receipt number, which I never got from them. So I’m in weird loop.
Any ideas or suggestions? Should I send them letter-inquiry to same lockbox?

No, no charges to card. I gave an authorization to charge my card.

When we first began this process (which feels like a hundred years ago at this point 😅) right in the very beginning we filed adjustment of status etc, and we sent it by mail. They received the paperwork and we also gave an authorization to charge our card, I dont remember exactly how long went by but it was a little while and then eventually it was returned to us and it said they were unable to take the funds. Which was ridiculous because the funds were fine and so were the card details, we then resubmitted the application with a check instead. Not sure if this might be randomly whats happened here to you.

I applied online.

Got it, until you got the reuse notification, was your status remained "case received" or changed to "actively reviewing"? Wondering if I need to check documentation tab periodically to find out I got the reuse notification or if it notifies you.

biometrics and actively reviewing happened on the same day.. this is my case history.. and on the document tab it shows the biometrics reused letter.

Hi guys, first time in this forum!

I applied my naturalization on May 3 using mail because my lawyer insisted doing it due to tracking purposes. I received my receipt notice and account number on May 10th so I added the case online.

Since the receipt, there hasn't been any updates, no biometrics reuse or biometrics scheduled, just "Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent"

From what I've seen, if you apply through online it becomes "actively reviewing" and get result on rather to reuse biometric or not within same day. Is this true?

Not sure if this is normal procedure for mailed applicant, anyone had or seen experiences like this?

Just received an update that my case is being actively reviewed!! Upon receiving an update, I went to documents tab and was able to see the biometric reuse notification. Interesting note is that my last biometrics was done almost 10 years ago and they were still able to reuse it!
