N400 combo interview with change of address during AOS

Hi everyone,

Asking for my brother.

He married USC in 2019 applied for AOS in Chicago due to covid backlog he never got his EAD and eventually has to leave his job.

To save money on rent He moved to live with his wife's family in Wisconsin but he changed the address AR11 to his friends place which is also in Chicago to not mess up the processing time as it was already taking too much time.

In 2020 he got his biometrics and AOS interview in Chicago and got 2 years conditional card. Then he changed the address to Wisconsin address.

Now he relocated to Indiana 2 years ago and applied i751 and N400 when he became qualified.

His n400 combo interview is coming up and he is worried that will cause problem. As he did not have any lease or any utilities on their name during their stay with his wife's family.

Updating address to friends house just to get correspondence causes issues?

Any suggestions... please advise.

Thanks

He is most worried about not changing the address when they moved in the first place.

here's the breakdown..

April 2019 - applied Aos from Chicago

Jan 2020 - moved to Wisconsin

May 2020 - Interview and Green card

July 2020- updated the address to Wisconsin

March 2021 - Moved to Indiana and updated the address on time.

Thank you.

Will it cause any issues?

Using friends address ro get the mails but staying with family in a complete different state the whole time?

So did the immigrant and US citizen live together during this time?

In  2020 he was interviewed in Chicago yet physical residence in Wisconsin? Dis he tell Chicago field office ?

In 2022  he filed I-751 ..where did he say he was living ? ,

He would have had to prove his physical residence in one state and justify mailing address in another state BOTH times.

Yes they will look closely
