I have my citizenship interview on Monday morning. Does the officer need originals of marriage certificate, birth, divorce, etc? I was thinking of taking original and copies with me just in case. Some where harder to obtain than others. Thanks in advance.

Officer may need to see originals. Taking originals and copies is a good strategy, so you can hold onto originals and allow IO to keep copies.

Agree with this. They might want to see the originals to confirm that it's real, but can keep the copies if they need them.

I did take them this morning but they didn't even need to look at them this time. I have passed the interview and Oath ceremony has been scheduled. 🙂

Fantastic, congratulations!

You came prepared and didn't have an issue. You know the Murphy's Law... If you didn't bring it USCIS would have asked for originals 😅
