Can you file I130 & I485 concurrently if your spouse is overseas?

Hello!

I have been searching for this type of topic here, but I could not find the answer.  So, I'm sorry if this has been asked already.

My husband and I are getting ready to apply for the I-130.  I read here that it's better if you apply I-130 and I-485 concurrently and it is more advantageous.  Can you do that if your spouse is overseas?

Thank you for all the help!

No. I-485 is only for those who are applying within the US.

Correct.  In addition, if your spouse is overseas, and will apply for a visa, you never file the I-485.
