G-325A- Employment history question

Hi, I’m filling my I-485 and I-130 (married to a USC) on the G-325A you have to list your employment history, I’ve been a house wife for almost 2 years now, we have lived at 2 different resident during this time.

A. My question is do I have to list both residents separately along with their accompanying dates and list Housewife as my occupation at both addresses

Or

B. Do I list my current address only and just put the whole 2 years (even if I was not a housewife at this resident for the whole time)

I hope I did not confuse anyone

Not to be sexist but why do you want to list housewife as employment - just put unemployed and maybe housewife in parenthesis if you want - its irrelevant for all practical purposes e.g. verifying employment, pay, taxes etc. Good Luck

Technically, you have been unemployed. So the employer name and address field would be filled in with "N/A" and the occupation field would say "Unemployed".

I would rather put housewife than put unemployed ( I don't like the sound of that word)

I agree, that does sound better!! Still put "N/A" in the employer field.
