Thanks for the kind words Charles, Laura, SpiritAlight, Trailmix, and Mumsie. Your posts helped a lot. I've spoken with my friends and had my little cry. Kevin was only 14 years old. I've looked into changing my flight but everything's on hold until after the autopsy. Life goes on. (F)

Was he in an accident??

Feel free to not reply to such questions...

I second that. I don't think words can begin to convey our sorry for such a loss and at such a young age. The saddest thing is for a parent to bury a child, I know it's no consolation but at least he's gone to a better place. (F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F)(F) (for each year)

So let me get this straight. You are the USC and your mom and dad live in Canada and you are sponsoring them and they are going to come and live with you?

My brother is the USC and he's concerned about my parents living in the Canuck permafrost (he's setting up his practice in AZ). Actually my parents are pretty ambivalent about the whole thing (just leave us alone  ) but it's seems like a good excuse to go to Montreal.:lol: In a Yaris.:lol::lol:

I had to look and see what a Yaris is, oh my :o

Your parents sound like nice people, I can see you dragging them to the consulate, they are saying, well the boys think it's a GOOD idea.

My Mom would just say - no. I'm not going.

Thanks and best of luck to you too for Friday. Just watch out for Mr. Syler. I've been watching the snow and trying to assuage my fears by looking at the highway cams and seeing what the road conditions are like. I'm guessing that downtown Montreal will be clear by the time we get there. I'd feel so much better if we were in the Tahoe or the Durango but a Yaris is going to be our chariot.

Sweeeeeet lorrrrrrd have mercy on that family.

Mumsie, I looked up the Yaris.

Oh boy.

Well do call if you need a push out of a snowbank...I can be there in 15 minutes!

Yes downtown gets cleared right away, unlike neighbouring "le Plateau" (see current photos in Snow Thread).

It will be fine...although I did not get down there recently to tell you about parking situations.

Sorry.

I had to look up Yaris too. Yes, good luck on the interview, Mumsie. Does this mean that your entire family is abandoning you and leaving you in the wilds of Canada?

Well....now that they've adopted Len. :crying::lol: My parents are staying a while longer. Thanks for the bonne chance (is that even a phrase, it is now  ) I do think Dame Fortune will be smiling on us this Wednesday. Can't you tell, I'm getting just a bit stoked.
