I feel physically sick. I've just been told that my friend's son passed away yesterday.

Krikit, you have my deepest sympathy and condolences. I don't mean to pry but was it a sudden illness?

Spirit, you getting nervous? HA!

All you need to do is get Hiro to help you travel through time to December 22 so you can see yourself celebrating a successful interview.

I love Hiro...yes I could sure use him about now...for both of us. B)

I have even managed to surprise my honey, too...of course I get nervous, frightened, whatever, before every new encounter.

It never stops me however.

What about you IR5 - 48 hrs and counting wooo hoooo!

I just pray to the Gods that IR5 does NOT behave, well, like himself at the interview you know???

I mean, crack some of his jokes with the CO.... hmmm :no::no:

Naaa.... in all seriousness, I am rooting for his parents (since they already have the burden of having such a ..... 'dude' as a child). They'll be fine, now that I am also a daughter and all ;)

So let me get this straight. You are the USC and your mom and dad live in Canada and you are sponsoring them and they are going to come and live with you?

Don't worry sis, I'll behave myself (as opposed to??? ). Actually when I try to behave myself I sound like an pompous, arrogant azz. For the record, I'm not pompous. The SUV is in the shop so it looks we'll go to Montreal in a Yaris. GOD HELP US!!!

Thanks for the kind words Charles, Laura, SpiritAlight, Trailmix, and Mumsie. Your posts helped a lot. I've spoken with my friends and had my little cry. Kevin was only 14 years old. I've looked into changing my flight but everything's on hold until after the autopsy. Life goes on. (F)

My brother is the USC and he's concerned about my parents living in the Canuck permafrost (he's setting up his practice in AZ). Actually my parents are pretty ambivalent about the whole thing (just leave us alone  ) but it's seems like a good excuse to go to Montreal.:lol: In a Yaris.:lol::lol:
