You could do a dual boot of xp and linux on a PC as well if you had two HDs or set up different partitions on one. It's fairly easy to do but you have to start from scratch!

Why bother when you can just run a virtual machine inside your linux install? Several guys at work run Ubuntu and have a VM that has XP inside it for doing work with Visual Studio.

That's the beauty of a VM - you can take it with you and run it anywhere. I load mine at home on my desktop, at work on my laptop. I've even given it to coworkers so they can get up and running faster. I love VMs ;)

So, I didn't tell you guys this sooner, but, I've got an interesting story now for my wedding. I broke my jaw and it's currently wired shut. The good news is that the oral surgeon is going to cut the wires before the wedding, and then put them back on after the honeymoon.

I don't have an interesting story for how I broke my jaw, though. I did by accidentally biting down on a cherry pit. Granted, my jaw was weakened from my recent wisdom tooth extraction and infection, but it was the first time my oral surgeon had seen a post-op jaw fracture in 13 years of practice.

On the bright side, I'm shedding a couple pounds being on a liquid diet for the past 2 and half weeks. I hope they'll be able to take the tux in enough to make it still look good on me, though.
