:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

Since I just got a job, we figured we would get a christmas tree this year and decorate it with the kids tomorrow morning...

Well I read in OT that someone bought his on Craigslist and I thought it was a good idea because less money on the tree= more gifts for the kids.

We picked up that nice 6ft1/2 artificial tree with white lights in it yesterday for 20$. The lady was very nice, she even plugged every part of it to show us the lights were working, etc. The box was big with all the past in there, and honestly we had to go shopping and kinda forgot (im pissed) to check if there was a stand in it. We were also in her garage with the door opened and she didn't have a jacket on so I didn't want her to be cold. Now today I thought about it and told myself, well she said everything was in the box, even the instructions are still there yet.....

AAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH

THE STAND IS FRIGGIN MISSING!!!!!

I sent her an e-mail, and we tried to call but it's only the answering machine....prolly too late....She is gonna get called early tomorrow. I was supposed to put the tree up so we can decorate it tomorrow :( :( :(

Now we are gonna have 3 sad little boys because we promised them. She said all the pieces were in it and she looked very honest. Now we hope that she just forgot. She'd better have it or she'd better give us back our 20$ cause I will shovel that tree up her christmas a$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!

YAY HON!

That's good news!

Just be glad you weren't the person who tried to buy a car off of Craigslist from some thief who asked the buyer to bring CASH ($20,000) to some random location to pick up the car. When the stupid idiot buyer got there, the "seller" beat the ####### out of him and stole his money (duh, really?)

Some people just don't use their heads!!!

Have a wonderful time setting up the tree!!! :)

Ok, I did the xmas shopping thing this morning.

I had this brilliant idea. We would get up at 7 and be at the store at 9 when it opened. Well we did (except the cat woke me up at 6:20 <_< )

So off we went, I said as we got out of the car "take a look at these people that go to a store right at opening time - I bet they are a different breed!" Ok they are not, they are organized and cheerful people. I am also generally organized and somewhat cheerful, not sure why I haven't thought of going to a store when it opens before.

So all up we went to 4 stores for stocking stuffers - was a successful trip.

Stopped at timmies for lunch, husband had an extra large english toffee for all you timmies peoples.

Anyway, I'm pretty tired, woke up stressed about the shopping trip - cuckoo. In the good old days I did all my xmas shopping manually, go figure.

I did some internet shopping today. I don't mind the holiday rush, except for malls on Saturdays. :)

Finally my christmas tree is done :D

with a stand <_<

Funny thing is I like blue and white decorations, but my husband wanted more colors...So I figured I would add some red garlands. The tree has white light, and unfortunately something went wrong with our colored light.

So before we added the ornaments, here's my American flag Christmas tree!!! (Hubby made the comment, and I honestly never realized before he told me!!!! )

And after I added orange, green, red, blue, white, silver and purple ornament, it got more normal ;)

Merry christmas :D

Wow.. what a gorgeous tree!

I think we're putting ours up tomorrow as well. My sweetie won't be here to help this year *sighs* and the kids will be leaving for a week in Texas with their (bio) father on the 22nd. *double sigh* I guess I need to get the tree up before the kids leave, but I honestly don't even feel like doing anything this year. Even with our early Christmas gift from VSC, I'm still bummed about being alone this Christmas. Ah well, enough whining. At least I can sleep in Christmas morning. First time in 8 years!

I see the kitties like it too

5 min after the tree was up Diesel was climbing in it, and once I was done Molly was chewing on the lights....I sprayed that bitter tasting repulsive all over the bottom of the tree and now it stinks in here. I need Cinnamon/apple candles :D

I helped decorate my sister-in-law's tree tonight. It was awesome - hadn't done it in at least six years :)
