this latest episode was when i changed modems from the older type to the newer type, the idjits changed the plan i had and the price went up $21.81 a month. oh it was their fault again, a computer error! right! but what irked me out of it all was telling two customer service reps that i wanted the overcharge credited back to my credit card (i believe i'd have a difficult time disputing the charge if they gave me a credit on my account instead of crediting the card back if i paid the bill and the so called credit disappeared). nor do i see a reason to pay them in advance for service! things got escalated all the way to some supervisor, and he's the one that told me if i put that charge in dispute with my credit card that my service would be cut off until it's resolved. that does not sound like something mastercard would agree with.

:ranting:

Oh they probably will cut you off, if you don't show up for your coffee we will know they hijacked you. These companies, I mean realllllyyy. I think there is some benefit for American's in having such a large market, you get a lot of variety in your goods and services. On the other hand every company knows that if one customer dumps them there are 10 right behind him/her to fill the money hungry void. I check all my bills as they come in too, anytime I change any service they generally get it wrong the next month.

I personally don't get the paying in advance thing either. I say they should bill you mid-month for the month and split the difference!

Speaking of customer service, when my Sister goes to the store in Nebbie, when she says thank you, 8 times out of 10 they answer with 'uh-huh' - what's up with that?

I have to go grocery shopping tonight - that's one thing. Tomorrow I have to go CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!! - yes to a store, a few weeks away from xmas, on a Saturday no less. I'm afraid.

I have done all my Christmas shopping online, it's very civilized and they take my money and thank me and it shows up at the door.

But there are all those little things to buy, the candy for stockings, little gifts etc etc, which require me to leave the comfort of home to brave the cold streets of Calgary.

Ok, maybe that's a touch dramatic....but still.

Oh, that's so annoying! The worst part is, Bee does that and it drives me NUTS. I'm starting to get used to it, but I've mentioned it to him before and he's like, "What's the big deal?" Blaaaaaaah.

I think I want to change my name to just "Nini" so that I can stop getting addressed as "thx Bee" or "so, which are you?".

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Getting our sanity tested by bureaucracy since 2007.

Here we go again...

Removal of conditions @ VSC

9/4/2010 - sent!

9/14/2010 - NOA

Or you could be Nini uh huh

Oh and I forgot, my Husband offered to go to the grocery store by himself, so all that is required of me is a shopping list

Are you guys nuts?!

Didn't you get the memo?

There is to be no more buying of gifts at Xmas.

You are only allowed the following:

Bringing baked goods, or any other food to share.

Okay you can buy wine...lots of it is good too.

You can bring your wide open heart and pour love all over the place.

You can hang in the kitchen and help cook.

You can pour wine.

You can even offer massages, dish washing, vacuuming and any other, ahem, service.

That is the short list.

Feel free to add...
