I come from Saskatchewan....our HOT weather is like 25 degrees celcius and very dry.

It has been like 38 degrees here for the last week, and it's humid.

I feel like I'm melting. It's horrible.

Haha the more south you go the worse it gets! I'm used to humidity because Southern Ontario gets some CRAPPY humidity in the summer. But it's just so much more here. When I walked from my building to the car yesterday (on our way to the beach ) I already had sweat on my forehead from those 2 minutes of walking.

We hit the highest temperature here yesterday in central VA in the past 30 years! Ugh... The maintenance guy said that it was probably worse in Georgia.

We were comparing weather tween here (kingston) and where Jim is (searcy, ar) with the humidity, it was only 10f cooler here

We went to New Orlean's in August one year, and I flew back to Kingston, it was hotter, humider, and smellier at the Kingston airport at midnight. YUCK

It's 36 C right now (feels like 39 C). Ugh... I thought my 12.5 year old dog was going to collapse on his walk even though we cut it short.

I will tell you though that I will NOT miss Ontario winter cold snaps (like when it goes below -20 celcius). When I was here for Christmas, it was 18 celcius!

I know that silly!!! But sometimes it gets in there by accident. It also always ends up in my eyes which end up burning and stinging for a couple minutes I miss lake huron! haha

Misa- I hear you about the ontario winter. When I was in university in Ottawa, in January it could go as low as -42 with the extreme windshield. There were days I didn't even go outside. haha

I always just want to state that I have never been tanned in my entire life. (Extremely scottish!) But this summer is the first time I have ever had a tan and not been burnt. We go to the shore all the time to beat this heat. I must say....I LIKE it!!

I'm so happy I (hopefully) don't have to drive in the winter up here NO MORE if it snows down there everything shuts down

I gave my notice to the Retirement home for the end of Sept.....she told me she's keeping me on the schedule (sp) for the next month's time sheet going up, MID OCT, just in case. UGHHHHHHH that made me feel REALLY good,

Heck 100 deg isnt abnormal down here this time of year. The shock is, this is only the first stretch of it. It usually starts earlier in the summer.

What misa said. Here in Northern Virginia it is just brutal right now. Car said 93 (32 or so) and about %60 humidity. Think instant sauna when you walk outside.
