Good morning all. Hello IR5! good to see you. Congrats Laura :)

Well put your toque on and hunker down Carla! :hehe:

Thank you, it's always pleasure to be here.

OMFG! My brother is *gasp* alive?????????

That means my happy chocolates I sent did not work. :jest:

Note to Self: Mumsie is resistant to arsenic.

And y'all, I shall part to Cuidad de Mexique tomorrow morning. PRay for safe departure since it's snowing in Seattle and these people cannot handle 2 inches of snow. Shameful, indeed.

Most airline crashes occur on the landing but we'll still ask the BOSS for a bit of divine intercession. All the holy hosannahs in the world aren't going to work if the pilot has imbibed heavily, still I think you'll be OK. well for you anyway. The people of Mexico City, now that's another story.

BTW, I'm rather diffucult to kill. I take a lickin' but keep on tickin'. Wait that makes me sound like some kind of perv. Just because I like to pour warm syrup all over myself while reading hard-core, barely legal pornography and singing "The Stroke" without any clothes on, is no reason to think that there's anything wrong with me.

It is good to be back. Don't worry about the spelling it could have been worse at least you didn't write Czech. Americans are good at splicing a few letters from words, the US Navy just launched a new ship that combines the best of the USS Nautilus and the USS Sea Queen. Their calling it the Nau-Sea. I would have surfaced sooner but I had trouble blowing the ballast in my homemade submarine, next time I'll use flomax.

and yes, I can attest to the fact that while growing up, mama's supply for one year worth of honey had to be kept under lock and key  shameful, but hey! he is my bro. :crying:

Wow I just had an in depth talk with my son about the death penalty, which he is saying he is very much for, I however I am against it.

Ever debate with a 10 year old? Very fascinating stuff. :D

The time I taught children (different karate classes, anywhere from 5 years old and on), I always learnt more from them.

They are so "pure", unjaded for the most part still...the really young ones.

I thoroughly enjoy conversations with kids; any age.

How did it go Sprailenes?

It went good, I am not going to try to change his mind. He is only 10 so he believes in an eye for an eye and that makes the most sense to him right now.

Just duct tape him to the chair until he listens to reason (because once he is 18 you will be able to tell him zero  ).

Anyhoo, good morning all! Think we might go grocery shopping today woot!

This is just weird, we have been living in this house just over 2 months - and we have had 3 deliveries of telephone books. Now i'm not just talking a yellow pages and a white pages - i'm talking about a bag of books - there is one out in the front again today, we just got a bag-o-books last week.

Who the heck is calling who and don't they have a computer

Yeah, well i guess marketers are having a field day.

On another note, I have cancelled my subscription to the paper starting Wednesday, it's so negative I think it is giving me a negative view of this place - true or not

So true! I told my mom his beliefs and she said: "Well I'll have to have talk to him when he comes up!"

What a waste! Same thing happened at my house kind of, we had 3 different deliveries of the same yellow pages. Maybe they're trying to push their useless books on to us!
