I was hoping mine would come for Christmas but I talked to her yesterday and it looks like the final word is no and she has a million excuses for why not

no, just my brother, sister-in-law and my nephew.... that was who was planning on coming from the beginning but my dad was trying to talk my mom into coming and usually he succeeds but I guess not this time ... if they would have come my little sister and maybe one other of my brothers would have come too... (by the way I have 4 brothers and 1 sister)

I just wanted them to come because I haven't spent Christmas with them in over 3 years... and I wanted to have a good Christmas this year because the last couple sucked

ok on another note..

the 3 year old I babysit loves to "clean" .. his mom recently got one of those portable vacuums things and he always wants to use it.. so anyways, tonight I am sitting here and I decided I want to get him a toy vacuum for Christmas so I search and search online and found a couple that got good reviews but they are all sold out... are there that many kids out there that like to vacuum??

oh and his other obsession his leaf blowers.. he will see a guy using one and want me to go over and ask them if he can have it so Santa his getting him a toy leaf blower for Christmas... lol I didn't even know they had toy leaf blowers

oh and we might might might get one of the cats from work.. she is the sweetest thing but she likes a lot of attention and they don't really have time to give it to her and she also is terrified of the 3 year old and the 3 year old is scared of her...

the mom was mentioning today that the dad was thinking of giving her away and I piped up "i will take her" the only thing is she is used to doing her business outside and that wouldn't be possible here...

her name is Chloe and she is black with long hair...

their other cat has settled in to having the kids around and is pretty tolerant of the 3 year old...

Sorry to hear your mum's not coming for Christmas Marilyn.. that's a bummer. And I'm glad your job is working out, it seems like you are fitting in well with the family.. a new kitty sounds marvelous!! I wish I didn't sneeze around them boo.

I'm late today! Slept in, as Gene stayed home from work today as he's ill. Kind of a flu thing I think. So, since I can't see your coffee or pot charles (something up with the image?) Sounds like a busy season for most.

I wish I could be in Vancouver for the Solstice.

There's this wonder-full Parade of Lights (http://www.secretlantern.org/)...mmmm...fire spinners et al.

Maybe I could go, except it is time to spend some quality time with my sweetie.

Things have been getting heated.

It's an ebb and flow...like life.

At least I don't panic about things anymore.

It may be important to him to be together and with his family at upcoming gatherings.

Personally, I always feel better once the calender reads: January 2nd.

Too much frenzy and too much energy starting after Hallowe'en to new year's eve.
