I think we're gonna get a panasonic or a sony.

We went last weekend and decided to sleep on it and so we did and now we're gonna get it. We need end tables still and a new couch too... but a tv is sooo much more important you know. :P

yippee, we are now the proud owners of a 2nd car, a 1996 Honda Accord... it is going to cost us a couple hundred bucks a month for the next year and half but it is worth it

hubby gets the new car though because it is a stick and I don't know how to drive stick :P although this car is actually older then our current car by a year.. it just looks newer because they gave it a wax and the interior is nice and clean :P

Mike and I are going to finally convert over to a flat screen lcd tv today. We're gonna go to Best Buy and make friends with a nerdy sales boy.

I was there today and guess what...they have a "42 inch flat screen at Best Buy for $699 bucks. I checked into the quality of the tv from others who had bought it and they said it is TOTALLY worth it for that price. I had to look at it in person and it is HUGE and made me literally get tingles all over.

Some people like gadgets, others cars..I LOVE tv! I can't wait to pick this one up and I am doing it before Black Friday because I'm sure it will be sold out by then.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

what is it with people too young and vibrant getting terminally ill all around me this year?

It's pissing me off!!!

As is taptapping on this semi-smart phone.

Fort Lauderdale and Miami have been so great for the ridiculously hot weather. And great winter winds for fun in the surf. Wow!! Sailing is nuts too.

Taking care of friend and his boat. He is in the hospital until maybe Monday.

Went and unwound a little bit dancing upstairs at the Elbo Room whilst seeing magical moonrise from

out of the Atlantic breathtaking. Wish I could have jumped back in after the dance sweat.

A couple bought me drinks just cause she fell in love with my free style dancing. I just close my eyes and let the music do it. Mmmm... I needed that. Yeah, baby.

Back at the boat in the bunkie. Escaped from bar. :)

Back to boat work and hospital visits with sneaking in food tomorrow.

Life is weird.

As usual.

Hope all of you are well.

Cannot read too much on this tiny thingy.

Do not want to return to brrrr-land on wednesday.

I should be careful what I wish for.

SpiritAlight edits due to extreme lack of typing abilities. :)

You will do foolish things.

Do them with enthusiasm!!

So today I had a huge flashback of Canada when I saw a rather old station wagon drive by and I punched my friend in the arm and yelled: "BEAVER PANEL!"

He literally looked at me going: "#######"

Never heard of that 1.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
