I normally can find something of interest in the other OffTopic thread but outside of the LOLcats it still seems to be a continuation of the nay-saying, fear-mongering that was happening before the election. I really, seriously wonder if these people have a life? Someone today sent me an email to say that finally, with Obama's election, intelligence is back in style in the US. I can't wait for it to make its way over to the other OffTopic thread cause it sure isn't there now.

Good Early Morning to all of You,

I was having a dream about line-ups at an airport to get through customs. :blink:

I mean, I thought I was over that trauma.

And the last few times I did this, it went super smoothly, except the one (first using A/P) time that took too long and I missed my plane by a minute or two. Now with the resident card, it is okay.

So why the dream?

Bleh.

As for OT (the other one, not this beautiful place), I woke up with a thought.

I was "attacked" there and that is nothing I am not used to. :P

Many get attacked, I am not singled out.

The attacks are by people that others attack back....well sometimes they try to reason with them and finding that impossible they...

It seems there is this role they play.

I realize that the person/people who do the attacking say things that demonstrate to me that they assume that they are smarter and/or more clever.

Instead of having a meaningful conversation, they just want to cut someone down. No reason required....just negative behaviour.

It must feel like fun to them.

Ah, the ego at play.

I know that when someone lashes out at another it is because they are hurting.

Without understanding there can be no peace.

And some people are just not willing to go there.

Oh well, the choice is mine whether to engage or not.

I choose peace, love and understanding....as much as humanly possible. :lol:

It is high time to review (for myself too):

I'm going to see Smashing Pumpkins tonight! I first saw them when I was 15 years old and I ran away from home in North Bay and hitchhiked down to Barrie alone to see them at Lollapalooza. I told my mom I was going to the store and didn't return for 28 hours. :lol:

Tonight will be my 10th time seeing them. Its special. :D

Hello everybody! :)

I have arrived in ND safe and sound, just in time before the blizzard hit! The trip was fun even though spending 2 days and 2 nights in a vehicle gets old pretty quick! :D

I'm pretty busy installing everything though so I'll be on and off for a while.

Hope everybody is doing well. :)
