I hate Boston. A few years ago my husband and I got stuck there for hours because we couldn't find the damn highway to get us out of there and it made me late for a Pixies concert.

Speaking of concerts next week I go see Smashing Pumpkins, it will be my 10th time seeing them in my life. :D

I love Boston!! Of course I might be biased as I'm moving to MA and Boston is the heart! It just looks so beautiful, especially in the winter. The colours, the lights, the snow... their subway is easy to use, and the city has so much history. :)

Amanda - I hope you'll find great shows to see in Vegas. Who knows, maybe you'll find a bargain for one of the cirque's shows. One never knows ;) I will most likely be on the road to home when you leave so I'll wish you a great trip right away :)

trailmix - Thank you for the coffee! :)

Thank you. I'm taking a note to be sure I don't forget. I really like those flowers and I think it would make our place look really nice. Do they require a lot of maintenance?

Geez, me who kept saying I wouldn't plant a garden and stuff, here I go now wanting to have flowers! I guess the fact I'll be in the open country real soon now is starting to have a positive effect on me :)

Carla - those flowers are lovely!

Amanda - I hope you have a great time in Vegas. I've been there a couple of times when I was younger, and I had a blast at the shows I went to. Unfortunately, no poker for me though, I was still underage

I am off to an interview in West Chester now, so cross your fingers for me! Knowing my luck, I'll receive calls from the other jobs that I applied to weeks ago and still haven't heard back from... ;)

Good luck! I'm moving close to PA soon! Where do you live in PA?

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Good morning everyone! Thanks so much for stepping up to the plate trailmix and pouring us our coffee this morning. Timmie's no less! :star: You're so sweet. Gene had a training day today so we didn't have to get up at 5 a.m. ...thus, I'm late. Since I'm not providing coffee this morning, what about a profusion of flowers from my backyard?

Wow, going to Boston Em! How far is that? I've never been to Boston...matter of fact I've not been to the Northeastern US. And Vegas! Wow! I've never been there as well. I like to gamble and would love to see the sights and sounds at Vegas. Gene has been there numerous times and said we'd go there soon actually so I could experience it. We'd like to go in the winter, when it's colder here. Sounds like fun!

And trailmix...your furniture delivery? weeeeeeeee! Nothing like supervising where the furniture will go while in your nightie. ;)

Enjoy your day everyone!

Beautiful photo Carlawarla! I love those.

You need to get to the NE.

It is the last place in the U.S. that is not overly "civilized" over processed.

Any season is the right season, although now is really good with the trees being all flame colours.

Mmmm...

I love/adore coastal Maine and I love the mountains that stretch out from through New Hampshire and Vermont.

A beautiful drive and great places to hike and enjoy.

The Mainers are the most egnuine people you ever want to meet. Real salt of the Earth!

:star::star::star:

Strarbucks get off your butts and call Len!

:D

Their language is pretty salty too.

So McCain's finallly getting rid of Palin, Nini I think you'll make a great VP candidate.
