I never thought I'd live to see the day.. Hubby went to a concert tonite without me cause I'm too tired.. he went to see blues traveler.. why oh why is that name familiar to me??

And maybe you were thinking of Blue Rodeo?

Is there any one else here who does not like coffee or can't drink it? Every time I drink a cup of coffee I end up in the bathroom holding on for dear life about an hour later. (Sorry for the grossness of that)

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Caffeine is a stimulant, and gets the bowels moving in the morning. Tea, coffee and pop often do that to people. That it's for an hour is very odd though! Sometimes it's just something warm that brings it on. Lots of time I just post a cup, so put whatever you want in it. What do you drink in the morning Mandi?

Good morning, everyone.

I can't drink coffe on an empty stomach. It's just too acidic. I usually have tea in the early mornings and save coffee for lunch time.

I didn't know that it gets the bowels moving. Is coffee good for weight loss my any chance?

I often drink tea. I used to drink about 5 cups a day but I come from a British-induced family so that was normal in our house. Now though I may drink a bit of milk or just some water. I do put the kettle on in the evenings and weekends though quite a bit. Tea just doesn't bother my stomach like coffee does. Literally an hour later my stomach is gurgling and putting me in agony. I like the taste a lot but I guess my stomach doesn't like it. haha

Do you put cream or milk in your coffee? I find that if I use heavy cream in my coffee, its troubles from then on for the rest of the morning. Yup - sorry - gross.

I do not injest cream at all actually. Creme, like you catty, makes me incredibly sick. Lactose thing I guess.
