Krikit, what stress! I hope you are getting in some rest and relaxation today, as much as you possibly can that is.

I think it's hilarious that someone here has sofa C and someone else knows someone that has sofa B - maybe there are only really 3 sofas in the U.S. ! No one has the manatee sofa though!

So I just went and got the mail, we have been here for 9 days, we already have a power bill and a cable bill !

On the other hand, the bank hasn't sent my new cheques nor Mike's replacement cash card - so I am going to give them a call now.

Welcome back, Charles. How was your trip?

Ya know.... it's just not as effective when it's one of those upright phones. You don't get the same sense of satisfaction. Especially with this spacial perception problem I have.

My sister just called. She lives in England so of course I got all paranoid about the reason she was calling. LOL. We had a good laugh. She called to tell me that my Dad had invited her to come to my house with he and my Mum after my uncle's funeral. She said she thought I'd like to know that since my Dad's not very good at passing along that type of information. <_<

I think it's hilarious that someone here has sofa C and someone else knows someone that has sofa B - maybe there are only really 3 sofas in the U.S. ! No one has the manatee sofa though!

I think it's funny too! What are the odds? I'm dying to know who the manatee sofa owner is, though.

Anyone have a bunion?

Ugh. I had one on each foot. Was nearly crippled by them. I feel for you, E. :(

Trailmix just Pm'd me and she is a bit embarrassed to ask, so I will ask on her behalf: Is the couch a good make out couch?

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

ruh roh. The Captain's here. Alright.... who squealed?

He probably got wind of the fact that flames was posting information I sent him in PM!!

Hi trailmix,

The third couch is the one Phil and I bought for our apartment though in sage instead of tan. It's really comfortable and even though the back cushions aren't attached, they don't move unless you pull really hard on them.

~ Catherine

Hi Trailmix...I've had sofa B for nearly 3 months now. It is very comfortable. Like you, I prefer sofa C the most, but having just disposed of a pillow-back sofa that my 3 kids trashed, we went for the sensible recliner sofa and matching loveseat. This way if they want to lay down, the don't have to fight over the sofa any more. They all can due to the magic of reclining! I haven't had a problem with head support, but as Krikit pointed out, that can be easily remedied with a pillow.

Good luck with your sofa shopping!

All the cool people have one of these sofas B)

Len I am sure you will get the job
