Our friends gave us the master "honeymoon" suite with the jacuzzi tub on the 3rd floor...they are so sweet!!!

Have a fabulous time Laura! What about the Tropical storms??? I thought NC coastal was supposed to get another storm tonight or tomorrow?? I suppose in a house that size you could all come up with some fun things to do anyway, storm or no storm. I am praying that you get good weather though!

Yeah there is supposed to be a huge storm coming up the eastern seaboard. Hope your vacation is still awesome!

The big storm that is going up the east coast will be really far out to sea so shouldn't cause any real problems along the Carolina shore except for riptides, waves, strong currents and some windy rain. TS Kyle - which is expected to intensify to a cat 1 hurricane - is currently taking aim for Maine and the Canadian maritime provinces. Laura - you and your friends should be fine even at Hatteras - and if you are heading inland, you will have no problems, although there is another weather system affecting inland South Carolina that is bringing wet weather over the weekend. I don't think you will have any real bad weather worries. North Carolina is absolutely beautiful, btw. You may even be able to see the hurricane pass out to sea - watch for the distinctive cloud bands as they travel overhead - they are really neat to see. Have fun!
