In my closet downstairs by the door is the LARGEST MOST GINORMOUS spider I have ever seen...EVER!

My husband ran out to the grocery store and I am too afraid to go down and spray it with raid because I am convinced it will attack me...its that big.

:(

It had 8 legs like a spider but more legs that looked like a grass hopper, sorry not a cricket.

And it jumped...a lot he said.

Thank god for husbands...yes! :D

Good Morning

coffeeni4.jpg

It is one of those mornings when I would love to back in bed. I woke up very early to the sound of Cooper throwing up- he has been throwing up a lot lately. It could be all the ####### he chews on outside, it could be his food, I'm not sure. He is totally fine though and getting into all kinds of trouble this morning.

I am trying to have a quiet cup of coffee before I have to get my stepson up and ready to take him to school.

This probably should have been in the rant thread

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I went to the beach by myself yesterday.. felt like a tool.. but had a good walk on the beach and good therapy by the waves lapping up (until the stench of the Sound overtook me and I had to leave)

My dog throws up all the time. We figure its from eating things shes not supposed to when our backs are turned like...slugs...ewwww.

MORNING every one! Another day, another dollar. My boss approved two days off for vacation so I can go home for Canadian thanksgiving. Yayyy!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Yay!! Thanksgiving in Canada!!

The other thing about Coops that is bothering me is he has a little circle on his lower paw and the hair is gone. It is a perfect circle- about the circumference of a pencil eraser. I'm keeping an eye on it to see if it gets bigger or if he develops any more of them.

Hope its okay, Stacey! Most of the time I find we worry about things that are nothing. I do this with my dog all the time!

The wedding was actually a lot of fun but I woke up with a terrible hang over and it sucked.

You always know when you've had too much to drink when you've joined the conga line that usually would make you cringe.

What...no Bird dance??

Good morning all..thanks for the coffee MissStacey!

Where has Carla gotten to!?
