We're going to a wedding this weekend.

At our wedding this bride and groom fought like crazy and she pushed me outside the hotel when I was trying to calm her down after the wedding, and she stole alcohol from the bar, and stole our wine favor, which we wanted to keep. What a classy woman.

All I can say to the groom is: Good luck with that one!

Donne moi une poptart!

That is what I thought until my brother brought "crazy horse" to our wedding. She got so drunk in the COCKTAIL hour that before our ceremony even took place she turned to me and said "so where are we going after this?"

After this? You mean, MY WEDDING?

I felt so bad for my mum and dad. They were so embarrassed. She was actually an American from Michigan my brother met while he lived in Colorado for awhile. Luckily he is not dating her any more because she was a complete wacko. She didn't even bring me a card or anything for my wedding and I had never met her before.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Spraileness, you kill me.

Spike with Cheese Whiz.

Thanks!

Sweet lawrdy lawrdy, I cannot live without bacon cheese burgers! With mushrooms.

I just refrain from doing that every day.

They are best when I make this at home...than I can feel better about having yummy organic beef and fresh and good ingredients....except for the bacon. Ha!

Plus I make the wickedest French Fries on the planet! :D

Besides:

I believe that I have superior genes and can eat anything I want and remain healthy.

Hey, the mind is a powerful tool!

Good morning all!

Reading the Orlando Sentinel the morning and the front page is (aside from the collapse of the U.S. economy), an article about how BPAs in plastic bottles may be harmful and the fact that they are in baby bottles.

What I found interesting about this article was this:

"some companies have decided not to produce or sell BPA products, including Wal-Mart, which is phasing out sales of baby bottles containing BPA from its U.S. stores next year, and Nalgene, which is removing BPA from its popular water bottles. link

The reason I found it strange/interesting is that this was reported in Canada in April:

(April 18th) Earlier this week, Wal-Mart Canada and other major retailers in Canada began removing BPA-based food-related products such as baby bottles and sipping cups from store shelves. link

But the question remains, why is it taking the U.S. arm of Walmart a year to remove the bottles?

 I've come to the conclusion that there are so very few things that are actually good for us any more. Every year there are, what seems like, a million and one things that will cause you harm.

I can't keep up with it so I just keep on living.

Plastic bad.

my hubby's exact words about implants.

I was going to say something totally inappropriate, but I'd better not

and...I could also really care less what they say about plastic bottles - if just seems strange that Walmart in Canada can get them off the shelves immediately but walmart u.s. takes a year.

Yeah. Especially when it's an American company. But I suppose they have to abide by Canadian regulations when in Canada so....

Hello everybody. Today has been pretty much a write-off at work. Came in, ran some reports, went to lunch with my former staff, and now I'm logged into VJ. All in all a good day.
