Good Morning everyone. Here's an urn of coffee to last the whole weekend, and I'm providing REAL SUGAR to accompany it. These foods do not have HFCS! Enjoy your weekend!

Nice breakfast fare there Carla!

Krikit, i'm glad you popped in, have been thinking about you and wondering how you are getting on. I'm so sorry about your uncle and so glad you got to see him and that you all were able to have a party for him.

With that and the stress of being plopped back in to the work a day world, i'm sure it's very tough, hang in there! When do you get to come back to Florida?

Good morning all!

Well I filled out both my U.S. and Canadian voter registration forms today. I have mailed off the U.S. one as they only require the last 4 digits of the SSC for identification.

For Canada I have to send them a photocopy of my birth certificate - which I will get in the next couple of days.

Differences in the registration, of course, are that on the Canadian one they don't ask for your ethnic group or your party affiliation.

Love those- as well as the Swedish berries and those Big Feet. Yum.

Does anyone remember the original blue whales/blue dolphins? Those were my favorite. The had a blue raspberry flavour. You can find blue whales now but they are different- not the same shape and they have a gross lemony taste.

You and me both. My 84 year old mother-in-law and my sister-in-laws and their families live in Houston. They are on the north side of the city so haven't evacuated but we are worried because their homes are all surrounded by big old pine trees. We're keeping our fingers crossed.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

COFFEE IS UP!!!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Good morning and thanks for the coffee flames, although those are cats in the cup not coffee :hehe:

Anyway, this seems strange to me....I am sure some of you have heard about the missing little girl here in Florida, here name is Caylee and they suspect her Mother had something to do with it.

Anyway, the Mother is out on bail and people are protesting outside her parents house, where she is staying. Does anyone else think this is weird? What about due process, guilty until proven innocent etc etc - not to mention the scene that the neighbours have to put up with every day.

Plus, the Mother is staying with her parents, those Grandparents are beside themselves with worry over their missing Granddaughter.

Anyway, I thought the witch hunts were over, apparently they are not.
