I wouldn't worry about it, Stacey. If it's positive, it just means you've been exposed to the virus. It doesn't mean you have TB. You had a chest x-ray, correct? If there was a problem, it would show on that x-ray and its accompanying report and they would have delayed your visa until you'd had it looked at. You'll be fine.

I had the XRay done with my medical in Canada.

My biggest concern is having to go for another chest X Ray- I got a few new piercings when I was in Canada a few months ago. Dermal anchors. I really don't want to have to go through the ordeal of having them taken out. According to the piercing guy- it won't be pretty.

I'm trying hard not to panic too much before I know anything for sure.

Ok, I need to take a few deep breaths and calm down- I also have to get to the Airport to get my sister.

I'll check in later. Thanks K!!

Take your current x-ray with you, along with the results. Good luck!

Hopefully ur not flying Zoom, lol Have a good trip.

Edited by flames9

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Bonjour tous le monds!

I am awaiting some one to show up with coffee.

Hee, hee.

No treats for me however...still attempting to heal my tooth and gum work.

I am not good at taking pain killers and broke down yesterday...it woke me up this morning to take another one.

Let the healing be quick!

I hope all of yu have a great day and weekend full of love.

We do our best around here...

I have arrived with coffee...but I see you've gone back to bed Spirit. So sorry about the pain. Hope the pills help and you can get some more sleep this morning.

My greatest love, outside of Gene and my kids is coffee and books. I went to the annual YMCA book sale this week, twice, and picked up over 100+ books. I've read 5 already. Here's a picture this morning to celebrate the combination!

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend. MissStacey, be safe. Are you going to evaculate?

Thank you dear CarlaWarla.

Bed?

Nah...I have been looking at VJ stuff in other parts of the forum. GASP!

Hahaha!

I may go back to bed as the pain has subsided somewhat now and I am soooo sleeeeeepy.

I have loaded the last part of Batman Begins to watch and not think about it.
