why, so much rain! on the bright side, ur only renting! And i disagree with the experts--black mold is good for ya!!

Stachybotrys chartarum can cause respiratory problems in certain susceptible folks but it is not that bad. It's not as if you're eating grains infected with Claviceps which leads to ergot poisoning. Now that would be a bad trip, seeing how Claviceps produces a precursor to LSD.

Well since I took pictures for the realtor and since you guys are probably thinking...Hey Trailmix, what's with the exciting rain story with NO PICTURES!! Here they are:

Bedroom wall, there was a lot more on there last night, but I couldn't be bothered taking the picture then haha.

I'm with Mephys on this one, the seepage is totally unacceptable as is the opening to the outside (fistula?). Did they even use a vapour barrier or any kind of sealant. :crying: It could be worse, at least the walls aren't dripping blood. Seriously, I wonder how much water damage has occurred to the wiring? :crying:

so I went to Walmart to pick up my BC prescription and I think I hear the lady ask," have you used us before?" and I say, " no, but my husband has." then she takes another look at the prescription and gets the strangest look on her face and asks me, " your husband has used this before?" and I am like, " oh no, I misunderstood you... yes, I have used this before. I thought you were asking if I had used this pharmacy before.."

too funnY!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

hehehehehehehehe - that is one of the best laughs I've had in a while - thank you!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Coulda shoulda woulda might have been better than my sooooooooooooooore hands.

Ouch.

Two and a half days and I am spent.

Muscles healing and growing as we speak.

Do or perish.

Thanks for those lyrics/poem (?) Mumsie.

I am happy not to have idle hands at the moment.

The sadness, the despair....

Tomorrow, the Leukemia Cup regatta, and maybe a thunder storrrrrrrrm.

Arrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Tralimix, I hope that your landlord/lady helps you out here.

What a mess.

I despise and am fearful of mould.

I'm not too worried about mould really....we will be moving out of here soon

The sun is out today, at least for a little while, rain predicted - but it is a nice break from weeks of rain - but I still like rain!

My Husband is working all weekend, in lead up to the local elections on like...Tuesday I think.

Here is that sailing boat that was in front of my inlaws house last week. I think it may have been the same one the family rented for a few hours for a bday party in July! But they remained mostly just outside Newport harbor!!
