Found it! Thanks for the site info, E!

Oh right! The tornado watch, forgot about that - that was the warning that woke us up last night, the conversation went something like:

Me: "Oh it's that weather clock thing going off"

My Husband gets out of bed and goes over to look.

Me: "What does it say"

Him: "Tornado warning - oh there is a button here to turn it off"

Me: "But if you turn it off how will we know what's happening with the weather - doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of the thing"

Him: "Maybe, but now we have heard the warning - so we know what's up"

Me: "ok" zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

:lol:

Does it actually say it or display it?

NP.. used to work in a music store.. that's all we did was look for manual for obscure musical instruments online :) tee hee.

It beeps and it displays the word 'Tornado' and some other text scrolls by.

Good morning all!

So we bought a weather radio yesterday, after we had been asleep for about half an hour it went off (tornado warning). Anyhoo, my Husband then turned it off :lol:

Since Carla isn't here yet, I will open up the coffee area!

The sun is kind of out here now. Was raining earlier. It's not supposed to get to our area until sometime this afternoon. But we are on a tornado watch until 4pm. You are too, Trailmix. :hehe:

Wow trailmix, that's an AWESOME cup of coffee! My hair is like that in the mornings sometimes...like a dove with a punk "do". :lol:

That convo with the Toronado warning is too funny!!! :lol::lol:

Slept in this morning and was frantically trying to finish some reports before my visit to the nursing home today. I don't know if I told you but I'm doing elder abuse investigations now, and I took on another nursing home for ombudsman work another 1/2 day a week. Really fills up my week sometimes!
