too funny

That is so cute! I love that line "There are some Americans who are Canadians too, except they call them Democrats" (or something to that effect!). Thanks!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Oh and yesterday - and I thought this was pretty funny - I look at the tree outside the patio and it has a yellow leaf or two on it and it crosses my mind - OH NO, the leaves are turning yellow!! Then I remembered i'm in Florida

ooooooooooooo how exciting! I didn't know you were going so soon. You should be thrilled! It's beautiful there. I brought my certified copy, because I have several. I'm sure a photocopy will be okay though. They never did want to see it, never even asked why the name in my passport and the name on my GC was different either. Weird.

Enjoy your time away. When are you coming back?

Have fun E!

Trailmix -- I do the same thing, thinking its a bit early then remembering where I am.

Marilyn --the first few days we were here we went out and bought a new washer and dryer. I went a little wild and got the front loaders, but with 6 of us there was no way I wanted to go to the laundromat

we rent and we are not allowed to have a washer and dryer here and there isn't really room for one here anyways.. there is one next door for the whole complex to use but the washer is puny and they charge $1 per wash and $1 per dry :o

at the laundromat down the street.. they have tripe loaders that cost $2.50
