so tomorrow's my bridal shower...

just got off the phone with my MIL...

she said "so, I have a very personal question to ask you..."

me: "okay.."

her: "what's your bra size?"

hehe

tomorrow's going to be SO EMBARASSING!

And then liz said.... "well, it's 34C; but since Oliver wears them sometimes, we would like a dozen of smaller ones that match"

a lot of threads are closed after a certain amount of posts because they kind of bog down VJ so it gets locked and a new one is started usually with a link to the last one....

Well, something kind of cool just happened:-) . . .

Our next door neighbour's father used to drive long haul transport trucks. Occasionally, he would bring the cab home while he visited with his daughter (he doesn't have his own place since he is on the road so much). Anyway, I heard this loud motor and thought maybe it was his truck - but it just sounded really loud. I went to look and there is this long vehicle that looks like a fire-engine in the dark. So, I go out - and no, it isn't a fire engine - it is one Humungous luxury tour coach. My friend's father signed on to a new transport company and is now driving these luxury touring coaches. Anyway, we got a tour - now I wouldn't mind traveling like this - there is no way you would even know you are traveling - it was like some sort of luxury boat liner with 8 bunks, an eat in kitchen area, all appliances, a wide screen TV in the kitchen area, individual entertainment units in each of the bunk areas and a huge wide screen tv taking up half the bus width in a leather upholstered lounge/living area at the rear of the bus! Everything was incredibly luxurious - and high quality luxurious- nothing cheap about any of this!

He is driving band members participating in the HippieFest tour for the next 31 days. He drives during the day while they sleep, then while they are performing he sleeps in a hotel, all expenses paid plus his salary. He leaves tonight and has to be in Dallas tomorrow to start his tour of duty, so to speak. Let me tell you, these band members have come a long, long way from Woodstock! Very, very impressive!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

We are going tomorrow morning to visit with Kathryn...and to adopt a sweet kittie that she's been caring for ever since she showed up on Kathryn's doorstep. I can hardly wait! She's a gorgeous brindle coloured girl, small size and a long hair. IMG_1371.jpg

She's gorgeous!

Hmm, maybe only if your family doctor doesn't do that type of thing? I know of many women here that do that...but I think it's unnecessary unless you have specific issues that need to be addressed. I went to my family Dr. in Canada for everything. If she referred me to a specialist, then I went, otherwise she handled it. My Dr. here is my GP, I have my yearly "wellness woman" PAP with her. I don't need any pills, but I would assume she'd prescribe them if I needed them.
